M&A: LS Power agrees to acquire remainder of REV Renewables from SK
LS Power has struck a deal to acquire the remaining equity interests in REV Renewables from SK Innovation that it does not already own.
This was disclosed in a Section 203 filing of the Federal Power Act seeking expedited FERC approval of the transaction on or before October 21.
NPM had reported in March that SK, a South Korean conglomerate, was exploring a sell-down of its US clean energy positions. SK E&S had announced in October 2021 that it was investing up to USD 400m in REV.

The regulatory filing also contained deals of certain REV projects which reached exempt wholesale generator (EWG) and thus were subject to the 203 review:
