Omnes Capital is believed to have shortlisted at least two bidders in its disposal process for German onshore renewables platform EEF.
The group put the business up for sale earlier in 2026, having mandated BNP Paribas to run the transaction.
It is in recent weeks mooted to have shortlisted Ardian Infrastructure and at least one other infrastructure investor for the final stage of the disposal, with binding offers set to fall due later in the summer.
Partners Group, for one, is believed to have been eying a re-entry into the German wind space after completing the disposal of VSB to Total Energies in April 2025, although whether it is participating in the latter stages of the EEF auction is not yet known.
At least one further bidder may also be preparing to submit an NBO, one source said.
Based in Berlin and founded in early 2024, EEF now employs over 80 people, while its development pipeline stands at close to 2.5 GW split between onshore wind (1.7 GW), BESS (450 MW) and solar PV (300 MW).
Partners Group, Ardian and EEF declined to comment. Omnes Capital did not respond to a request for comment.
