Exagen Group has put up for sale a circa 260 MW portfolio of solar PV and co-located BESS assets, it is understood.
The Octopus Energy Development-backed group is believed to be working with financial advisor Alvarez & Marsal on the sale, with initial market soundings having taken place over recent weeks and non-binding offers due before the end of July.
The portfolio is understood to include two fully consented, ready-to-build UK projects with secured grid connections targeting mid-2028 connection dates, in addition to further late-development stage schemes.
One of the projects in the portfolio has already secured a 20-year CfD and a 15-year T-4 Capacity Market contract, while another project could potentially participate in the upcoming AR8 CfD auction, it is understood.
Bidders will have the option to add additional late-stage development projects in the Exagen pipeline to the deal, it is believed.
Octopus declined to comment while Alvarez & Marsal did not respond to a request for comment.
