AI infrastructure developer Sylvyn is seeking a co-development and investment partner for its planned 400 MW-plus Scottish data centre campus project.
Teasers have been distributed for the early-stage process, for which GreenCap Partners has been mandated to run.
The transaction – dubbed Project AlbaCore – covers 230 acres of secured land under option in central Scotland.
The site is located in close proximity to an existing 132kV grid node which could provide 150 MW of power.
The distribution network operator (DNO) application is currently in progress for the initial 35 MW-plus phase, with the developer targeting RTB by Q2 2028.
Phase 2a intends to deliver over 150 MW of IT capacity via the existing node and achieve RTB by Q2 2029, while phase 2b intends to connect 250 MW-plus of capacity by 2031 following a super grid transformer (SGT) upgrade.
Sylvyn is targeting a total IT capacity of 400 MW by 2033.
Early discussions are also being held regarding a second brownfield site which could increase capacity of the phase one project.
