Orrön Energy is circulating information memorandum (IMs) for the sale of its 300 MW Hertfordshire-based greenfield data centre project.

The site has a 300 MW power load and is one of three large-scale data centre projects at RtP, alongside a 400 MW East Midlands projects and another 400 MW Hertfordshire site.

Knight Frank has been mandated to run the process, as confirmed by an Orrön Energy spokesperson.

In its Q2 2026 report, Orrön Energy announced plans for the sale process, noting that the issuance of formal grid details were expected no later than early 2027.

Earlier this week, NPM exclusively reported that the Sweden-headquartered company had distributed teasers seeking one or more long-term partnerships as part of its multi-site energy hub plans.

Orrön Energy has entered the German market with three energy hubs with a total capacity of 1.5 GW BESS, 1.25 GW of data centres and 500 MW of Agri-PV, as confirmed by a spokesperson.

The three hubs consist of:

  • Hub 1: 500 MW BESS, 300 MW Agri-PV, 500 MW data centre
  • Hub 2: 500 MW BESS, 200 MW Agri-PV, 500 MW data centre
  • Hub 3: 500 MW BESS, 250 MW data centre

A pipeline of an additional 10 hubs could be added to the transaction scope.

GreenCap Partners has been mandated as the advisor on the process.
