FINLAND: Valorem plans 60 MW data centre with solar plant, BESS in Eurajoki
Valorem has unveiled plans for a phased data centre development in Kissankallio, Eurajoki, Finland, with an intial 60 MW facility.
The first phase also includes an 80 MW solar power plant and a 30 MW battery energy storage system.
The French energy company said the site could be expanded in later phases to several hundred megawatts.
Valorem is negotiating a planning reservation for about 135.91 acres of land with the municipality, and zoning work will begin immediately.
Minna Jukola, country manager of Valorem Energies Finland, said the company is targeting a building permit next year.
