GERMANY: Encavis moves for ABO Energy onshore wind pipeline
ABO Energy has lined up the sale of a portfolio of German onshore wind projects to KKR-owned Encavis.
NPM reported at the start of June that ABO had launched the sale of over 450 MW of potential installed capacity, split between six onshore wind projects and one solar PV scheme, and the group has subsequently reached a deal for the sale of several hundred MW of onshore wind pipeline to Encavis, it is understood.
Wiesbaden-headquartered ABO is being advised by PwC on the transaction, which is currently being processed by Germany’s competition authority.
The developments are believed to have an approximate target commissioning date over 2028-2029.
ABO Energy’s global project pipeline now stands at around 30 GW, according to the company website.
