ITALY: Susi Partners platform puts solar & BESS pipeline on the market
Susi Partners’ ReFeel New Energy platform is inviting offers for an up to 1 GW solar and BESS project pipeline across Italy, it is understood.
The group kicked off the disposal of the packet of projects earlier in Q1, will take non-binding offers at the end March, and is being advised by Astris Finance (financial), according to market sources.
The exact identity of the projects in the portfolio have not yet been confirmed, although this is forecast to include a circa 50 MW BESS project in the Tuscany region for which ReFeel secured a 15-year capacity market contract in the 2027 auction in February.
ReFeel previously in October 2024 secured EIA approval for its 37.15 MW “Acquapendente” PV portfolio, which will span the regions of Lazio, Umbria and Sicily, in the municipalities of Acquapendente (Viterbo province), Castel Giorgio (Terni province) and Scalfani Vagni (Palermo province), and its 60.9 MW “RNE 1 Lanuvio Solar” project in Lazio. The group in May made an EIA application for its 90.1 MWp “Basiliano” agrivoltaic project in Friuli Venezia Giulia. The project will be located on a 98 ha plot in the municipalities of Mereto di Tomba and Basiliano in the province of Udine.
In July 2024, ReFeel divested a 20 MW portfolio of RTB solar projects in Piedmont and Lombardy to Keppel MET Renewables.
Susi established its renewables development platform in Italy in Q1 2022.
Susi Partners did not respond to a request for comment.
