LITHUANIA: Acme issues IMs for sale of 140 MW wind & solar portfolio

Acme Grupe has launched a first round of bidding for a circa 140 MW portfolio of under-construction, RTB and late stage development wind and solar projects in Lithuania.

The Vilnius-headquartered group, which is active across a range of other sectors in addition to renewables development, is set to complete construction before the end of 2025 of an initial 52 MW solar PV project in Pakruojis, while a second 52 MW solar project in Gudžiūnai is slated to reach RTB over the coming weeks and to enter construction in 2025.

The group is also in the late stages of developing the 36 MW Kedainiai onshore wind project, with the start of construction forecast for late 2025. The project will also include 30 MW of co-located battery storage.

Acme is requesting non-binding offers for the portfolio by early December, while a second round of bidding is forecast to take place over Q1 2025.

Under current parameters, the projects will be sold as commissioned or ready-to-build, it is understood.

The schemes are all currently uncontracted but could ultimately have part of their production sold under PPAs.

PwC is understood to be advising Acme Grupe on the “Project Vanguard” transaction.
