BayWa r.e. hired Guggenheim Securities to sell a 560 MW US portfolio of operating, under-construction and late-stage assets, said sources familiar with the situation.
The process, known as Equinox, was recently launched.
A spokesperson for BayWa confirmed the mandate but offered no other details. Guggenheim did not return calls seeking comment.
Included in the portfolio is the under-construction Jacumba Valley Ranch (JVR) paired project in San Diego County, California. BayWa announced in late 2025 that it raised USD 416m in funding to support the project.
The operating projects include:
100 MW Fern Solar–Edgecombe County, NC
20 MW Camden Solar–Camden County, NC
The late-stage projects comprise a paired project in Georgia, Tyre Ridge, and a 100 MW battery storage project in the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC).
