Panamint Capital hired Houlihan Lokey to sell a 3.2 GW powered land campus in Robertson County, Texas, said sources familiar with the situation.
Teasers for the process, known as Project Phoenix, were distributed to the market.
The company has spent the past few years developing and commercializing solar PV and storage capacity at the Twin Oaks coal fired plant.
NPM SIGNALS is tracking two paired projects, collectively at 950 MW, being developed by Panamint in Roberston County: Big Rooter East and Big Rooter West.
Panamint executed amended interconnection agreements with Texas New Mexico Power in recent weeks, which among other things, delayed project milestones.
For 403.2 MW Rooter West project, the notice-to-proceed (NTP) deadline was extended to May 31, 2026, and scheduled commercial operation date of May 31, 2028.
For 554.7 MW Rooter East project, the NTP deadline was extended to June 1, 2026, while schedule operations date was extended to May 31, 2029.
The data center is supposed to be around 850 MW, according to a media report.
Panamint and Houlihan Lokey did not return calls seeking comment.
