ASSET SALE: Arevia Power hires Javelin to sell 2.3 GW solar, wind portfolio in WECC

Arevia Power has engaged Javelin Capital to sell a 2.3 GW portfolio of solar and onshore wind projects out West, said sources familiar with the situation.

The portfolio is comprised of solar and wind projects in Nevada, Arizona, and Idaho.

The projects are expected to hit notice-to-proceed (NTP) in the next few years.

KKR and GCM Grosvenor made an investment in the platform in August 2022. In a follow-up interview with NPM, Arevia’s managing partner Mark Boyadjian and chief development office Ricardo Graf went on to discuss its pipeline of projects of greenfield projects on the West Coast, while also expanding into ISOs in the Midwest and East.

Out West, this has included more recently the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) releasing a draft environmental impact statement for its paired 700 MW Libra project in Mineral and Lyon Counties, Nevada and also reserving a nearly 70,000-acre section of White Pine County, Nevada for its 600 MW Stagecoach Wind project.
