ITALY: Star Energia gains EIA green light for near-80 MW PV plant

Star Energia has been granted EIA approval for its 79.21 MWp Bosco Cammino agrivoltaic project in Campania, Italy.

The facility is to be located on a 94-hectare plot in the municipalities of Santa Maria la Fossa and Grazzanie.

The project will evacuate its energy via a connection to a new Cancello 380 substation which will be linked to the 380 kV Garigliano ST – Patri line of the national electricity grid from TERNA.

Star Energia is an Italian developer and consultant focusing on solar and storage projects with a more than 1.5 GW pipeline of BESS and solar in progress across the country.
