Ingrid Capacity’s global head of markets, Amanda Niklaus, is this week’s guest on the podcast, joining NPM’s Jon McNair to discuss her company’s battery storage plans across various markets in Europe.
In this episode, Niklaus appraises the relative merits of developing projects in the Nordic countries – with Ingrid starting life in Sweden and expanding out from there – as well as the battle for grid connections, merchant vs. tolling contract strategies, and where the next wave of European battery development will occur.
