POLAND: ib vogt sounding market over BESS portfolio sale
ib vogt is understood to be considering the sale of its 190 MW / 760 MWh Polish BESS portfolio.
The group secured EUR 20m in subsidies for 130 MW / 520 MWh of the portfolio’s capacity in the country’s tender to support the technology earlier this year, while the assets have also previously secured 17-year capacity market contracts at a clearing price of PLN 465.02 / kW / year (EUR 110 / kW / year).
The portfolio is principally located in Górzyca, Lubusz and PŁOSKIE, in Podlaskie.
Having lined up both capex and revenue support ib vogt has in recent weeks started to approach prospective acquirers of the projects, according to market sources.
The group is believed not to be working with a financial advisor or running a formal auction process, with the initial offers it receives forecast to determine whether it opts to proceed with a sale or build out the projects itself.
