Invenergy has put up for sale its UK onshore wind and battery storage assets and pipeline, it is understood.

The US-based group is being supported on the divestment by financial advisor PKF Francis Clark, according to market sources.

PKF is set to run the disposal in two separate processes, with its 81 MW Pencloe onshore wind project in East Ayrshire, operational as of mid-2026, to be sold in one transaction, and its six-project, 880 MW onshore wind and 320 MW co-located BESS pipeline to be sold in another, it is understood.

The group is believed to have started circulating teasers for the sale this week, with deal close targeted by year-end.

The Pencloe scheme secured a 20-year CfD at a strike price of GBP 72.24 / MWh in the UK CfD Allocation Round 7 in early 2026, while a 22.5 MW extension is currently in development.

Invenergy’s pipeline is headed up by the 194.4 MW Creag Dhubh onshore wind project in the Highlands, for which it received a scoping opinion in Q2, and the 93.6 MW Mid Hill Wind Farm (with 53.2 MW / 420 MWh of co-located BESS) in the Scottish Borders, for which a planning application was submitted in late 2025.
