Pioneer Point Partners and co-investor Davidson Kempner Capital Management are taking non-binding offers this week for energy infrastructure platform Brockwell Energy, it is understood.

The sellers, which includes company management, are working with financial advisor Citi on the sale, with teasers circulated to the market in July and a first round of bidding having kicked off in August.

NBOs were initially due on Wednesday although there is some limited flexibility for late bids, according to market sources.

Some of the parties to have been connected to the process in its early stages include Antin Infrastructure, Dalmore, Icon Infrastructure, Igneo Infrastructure Partners and Wren House.

Brockwell Energy’s portfolio is spearheaded by two Scottish assets: Earls Gate, fully operational as of Q1 2024 and the 220.5 MW North Kyle Wind Farm in East Ayrshire, which was commissioned in mid-2025.

However, Earls Gate is understood to have been carved out of the Brockwell platform sale, with Barclays Capital having tried to run a separate auction process for it over recent quarters.

The project’s debt was refinanced in June, while the sales process is mooted to be ongoing.

Brockwell’s under-construction and late-stage pipeline comprises: 80 MW Breezy Hill onshore wind & BESS near Ayr, with a target COD of 2028; and 60 MW / 120 MWh Inchbean Farm BESS, which reached financial close in mid-2026.

Further solar & BESS developments include Tollgate Solar Farm (16 MW), Scawby Brook Solar Farm (50 MW), Greenstead Solar (40 MW), New Oak BESS (100 MW /200 MWh), Peat Dykes BESS (100 MW), Didcot BESS (300 MW) and the 400 MW co-located solar & BESS East Park complex north-west of St Neots.
